The verdict: for sports fans, it’s probably one of the best applications on the market. It offers scores, player statistics, a summary of each game and video highlights. In other words, everything a sports junkie might want to get a mobile fix.
TheScore, Canada’s third-largest sports networking behind TSN and SportsNet, generates revenue from the mobile app from direct ad sales as well as through partnerships with ad networks such as Quattro, JumpTap and Google Inc.’s AdSense Mobile.
