Who: Influitive, which bills itself as “advocate marketing experts” that provides brands with a service called AdvocateHub that engages consumers with challenges, surveys, reviews and more. The company was co-founded by Mark Organ, who co-founded Eloqua, which recently completed an IPO.

How Much: $3.75-million in seed financing from a group that includes First Round CapitalLightspeed Venture PartnersNew Enterprise Associates (NEA), Relay VenturesIlluminate Ventures and CommonAngels.

The Quote: “The size and breadth of this seed round of funding far exceeds our expectations,” Organ said. “Not only did it include some of the most renowned venture capital firms and individual angel investors, but it also raised funds from both coasts of the United States, Canada, Europe and Asia.”.

      I’m not sure how Influitive raised such a large seed round. It may have to do with Mark Organ’s experience with Eloqua and his network….and/or their solution may be really good!
