I have to agree that there are many programs or options that are just too complex for the one person show, or small business. After all many people just want a simple straight forward solution, that doesn’t require an accounting degree to operate.

I am new to blogs and have been checking some out that are related to the field I am studying in school right now. I came across this one and found it interesting. I like that you can gain some information on something you hardly know about. I do not own my own business, but I am studying Accounting in College, as I also work in the AR department of a small business. Small, meaning 350 employees, so I don’t think this is something that would work for us. We do have our own system within the company that is working great. I just enjoyed reading this and getting a sense for blogs in general. I think they can be a great resource for people in different fields who are looking for advice, information or just a good source of communication. Thanks!

Interesting how Wave are planning to partner with other providers in order to meet small business owners needs.

When you combine several such services to cover Accounting, Invoicing, CRM, Cost Proposal creation, To-dos, Project Management etc it can get expensive. Plus you have a range of logins to manage various parts of your workflow.

There are more complete services such as Moobiz http://www.moobiz.com that offer a full range of integrated business management apps, all of which are available for one price, via one login.

We agree that the set up on Wave Accounting could use some improvement. In fact we’re in the final stages of testing a new start-up wizard that will make it easier for new users. We expect to roll it out by the end of March.

So when do we get you off your desktop software and into the cloud?
