I have a 1/2 full 1TB as NAS, 700GB attached for "stuff" 3/4 full, 1TB for timemachine (plenty of room there) plus a nice clean 500GB portable drive. Yes we keep a lot of stuff, but I don't print pictures any more. I don't have shoeboxes of photos. I have years of pics on drives. I lost a whole bunch to drive failure last year. That sucked.
