For the Zune to truly compete, it needs to beat Apple at the "features" game. Give us something we can't do on the iPod!

Divx/Xvid support - Sorely lacking on both. Even if it caused a hit in their retail sales of video in the Marketplace, this would go a long way towards upping the Zune's appeal.

Better menu system - Give us a way to organize our media the way we want. I hate wading through 20 movies in a single folder to find what I want.

Better implement what we do have - My favorite feature on the iPhone is the ability to zoom a wide screen video to full screen with a tap. Where's that ability on the Zune??

You may have noticed I'm focusing on video more than audio... I use both extensively and I must say, I love the music capabilities. I don't see much that's missing, although I'm sure a pure audiophile would have their own suggestions.

All that said, I own 4GB and 80GB Zunes, a 4GB 3rd gen Nano, and a 3G iPhone. They are all great, but the 80GB Zune is hands-down my fave for storing every bit of my music and most of the movies I watch a lot.

C'mon M$, give us the features we want!!

It is interesting to see Microsoft as the underdog in a specific market.
