Thoughts on VoIP

I wrote an article for a new Web site called VoIP Services looking at some of the challenges facing VoIP service providers. As some of you may recall, this blog’s original focus was VoIP (back when Vonage was all the rage!) so it’s like old times.

I think VOIP is ready for prime time - I have used Vonage exclusively for home phone for more than 3.5 years. I save about $50/month vs. Bell Canada and they offer services that still aren’t offered by Bell - like emailing me my voicemail as .wav files.
