I don't know about the four choices at at a diner. I love opening a 10-page menu and just reading through all my options, and picking _exactly_ what I want at that moment :)

Thanks for your thoughts, Oz. Apple doesn't lack for coverage these days; that's for sure!

Much ado about nothing ....
I have seen so much written recently about Apple that is getting ridiculous. Half the blogs are chiding apple for not getting the new chips in there laptops then they do and we get articles like this Kevin Restivo's Everyone has an opinion but it would be nice if just a few of them said "it just how i feel but i can understand the reason Apple is doing it that way". Way to much arm chair quarterbacks. none of these people seem to understand design and manufacturing processes. Maybe there not enough track pads that size. Maybe the MB would need more case changes that counldn't get done on time. and yes it makes sense to start at the hi end and add feature later. as for product confusion go to Dell's web site and see how many different configurations of laptops they sell. If you can't keep up with two Mac Books ( 2 models ) 2 Mac Book Pro (different sizes ) and 1 Mac Book Air maybe you not bright enough to buy a computer in the first place
