There has to be a phrase that describes how cool things get released in other places months before they arrive in the Great White North – e.g. the Tivo, Slingbox, iTunes, etc. Perhaps something “Canada: Better Late Than Never”.
Update: There’s speculation that Steve Jobs’ keynote speech tomorrow has been leaked. If true, I hope he puts on a good show because the product announcements look pretty tame. Meanwhile, RBC analyst Mike Abramsky has a report suggesting Apple’s Q4 number were stunning. he thinks sales of Mac units were 2.5 million, up from his previous estimate of 2.4 million – consisting of 1.6 million laptops, and 900,000 desktops. He cut his iPod forecast, however, to 24.4 million to 25.3 million.
