Mark,

We launched a new design about a week ago. our users have become increasingly interested in videos and moves over the past year so we decided to display those things on the homepage.

a vertical blog search is a very cool idea, I think you are correct and people searching for specific categories would find that very useful.

Our biggest challenge is still splogs. Over the past few months we have noticed huge amounts of splogs on blogspot and block many thousands per day. Probably likely that we will turn off accepting new blogspot blogs again this week.

WE always are up for suggestions or conversations about the blog search space and how it can be improved. Feel free to email me anytime.

I'm not holding my breath but perhaps it's a market with a void that some VCs may see as ripe with opportunity.

I couldn't agree more Mark. I've been writing about IceRocket for over a year now, and I also think they had/have a unique opportunity that they seem to be wasting? Maybe the tide is turning? We shall see.
