		<description>I think that one needs a mobile equivalent of the voice-activated GPS's in cars - i.e. if you could just punch in 'Thai Restaurant' or 'Second Cup' into your Blackberry and it'd tell you where the closest one  is, that'd be great. I know you can do that with Google Maps (if and when the iPhone ever gets released here) but it seems that GPS will be a better solution for something like that. To me, an app like that would be the killer thing needed for ubiquity.</description>

Working for a Canadian retailer, we consistently see GPS as one of the most searched terms on our site (and we do pretty decent traffic) and GPS units are always among the top sellers, regardless of the time of year.  Apparently there are a lot of people out there who want to know where they are as they tramp through the great Canadian wilderness.</description>
