Being Easter and all (no news, lots of chocolate), Paul’s Graham’s intriguing – and linkbaiting – Microsoft is Dead post has captured the blogosphere spotlight. There are plenty of views already out there but Apple fans can revel in Graham’s contention that one of Microsoft’s biggest woes is OS X, which has let Apple “come back from the dead in a way that is extremely rare in technology. Their victory is so complete that I’m surprised when I come across a computer running Windows…Windows is for grandmas, like Macs used to be in the 90s. So not only does the desktop no longer matter, no one cares about computers [using] Microsoft anyway.”
