If It’s Wednesday, It Must be Third Tuesday

January 17th, 2007 Posted in Uncategorized

This is short notice but if you’re in downtown Toronto tonight, I’m speaking at the Third Tuesday public relations meet-up at The Pour House. Joe Thornley was kind enough to switch the evening to accommodate my Tuesday night hockey game…:). So what am I going to talk about? Well, a major theme is going to be how the PR industry is starting to reach out to bloggers, the tools/thinking that’s involved in this process, and it compares with how PR agencies communicate with “traditional journalists”. Naturally, Microsoft’s controversial Vista/laptop giveaway will be major point of conversation.

Too bad - I am now in Vancouver so I’ll have to miss this one. Let us know how it went…

    Mark,

Thank you for FANTASTIC presentation last night! Our turnout was the best yet. And when I looked a few minutes ago, almost all of the attendees who had rated it had given your session five out of five stars.

Thanks again for sharing with the community. We’re lucky to have you here. Please DON’T move to San Francisco!

Thanks for the invite. Do they play hockey in SF?…:)

    Thanks again for the tips!

Another great session. When you need an agent to book your 25K-per speaking opps, give me a ring :)
