Hey, I’m IE Friendly Now

December 16th, 2006 Posted in Blog Services, Blogs, Main Page

A shout out to my friend Vern Lun for figuring out why the new and improved Mark Evans wasn’t playing nice with Internet Explorer, particularly IE7. As well, I’d like to thank everyone for the feedback on Ben Bleikamp’s new design. In going the through process, it struck me that the focus on design could be the next hot trend within the blogosphere as bloggers strive to differentiate themselves from the pack (50 million blogs and counting), while providing their readers with a more user-friendly product/service.
In terms of my blog wish list, I’d like to see a widget where I can write short posts (Rob Hyndman’s sweet Scribbles tool is what I’d like to replicate). I’m also looking to use the sidebar widget to play with with some of the more interesting blogging tools/services, although I promise not to become Fred Wilson, who has apparently never met a tool he’s not liked. If you have other suggestions on what you’d like to see or cool features that I should explore, please let me know.
