Woman and the Web

This being U.S. Thanksgiving, CNet used the lull in the news cycle to publish a, well, provocative list of the leading 10 “geeks girls”. In organizing the mesh conference, we've had plenty of discussions about having having women involved on the stage as opposed to yet another event dominated by middle-aged white guys who really, really need to visit the gym. Fellow mesh-ite, Rob Hyndman, offers some thoughts, including some suggestions about who should really be on the list.

What an embarassing list CNET's put together…. female employees must be cringing in their cubes…..
Tara Hunt has a great list going – it wouldn't have been unreasonable to add a few more females who are actually ALIVE ;-)
I'm off to see what Rob has to say on the subject ;-)
    cheers,
