		<description>It would be a fantastic leap if other municipalities picked up on Markham&#39;s forward thinking.  I (gulp) didn&#39;t vote this week in the municipal elections; work, life and deadlines got in the way.  The idea of waiting in line at my local community centre wasn&#39;t nearly as appealing as it sounds.  Had there been an on-line opportunity, I would have voted as soon as the polls had opened :-(</description>
