BTI Photonic Systems, which makes metro optical edge equipment, has raised $12.25M  to expand the business. It's another sign there are signs of life within Ottawa's telecom equipment market given Meriton Networks' $54-million private equity exercise and Meriton's purchase of Mahi Networks.
