Bell has tried to re-invent itself no less than 3 times in the past 7 years. As a former employee I can tell you that with every new CEO comes a new grand vision. The problem is that many of the top executives bring in their own teams and surround themselves with people who know very little on how to run a corporation and even less on how to run a telco. This inevitably creates a culture of inept managers. Bell has not released a decent product since DSL in '97.

There is no way that Crull will ever lead BCE - just doesn't have (nor will develop) the connections necessary to make it work. As for your giving Sabia a break on the share price given "difficulties" in telecom, seems that Entwistle hasn't been bothered by the same challenges. Something drastic needs to change at Bell/BCE.
