Steve Nash Hawking MDG Computers

July 29th, 2005 Posted in Main Page

MDG Computers, which makes PCs and laptops, has suddenly become cool after signing a deal with Phoenix Suns' guard and NBA MVP Steve Nash. Nash (otherwise known as Captain Canada for his exploits with the Canadian Olympic basketball team) will appear in TV, radio and print ads, while MDG will support Nash's foundation and work with it to provide some Canadian schools with computer labs featuring MDG computers. Give MDG credit for stealing Nash right from under the noses of the big boys - HP and Dell - but it seems a little strange Nash would align himself with a white-label computer maker rather than a multi-national brand.

I have to mute my TV everytime I see the Steve Nash and MDG commercial. MDG builts pure junk and when I hear “MDG is the best” I just loose all respect… a complete sell out.

MDG has misleading advertising and consistently and obviously uses bait and switch tactics.
Steve Nash should be regarded to have the same lack of ethics as MDG.

MDG is the biggest rip off I have ever seen in my life. We have a gaming computer that has not worked since October 2006. No software yet to date except for xp which does not work with the computer.Haven’t been able to play as game yet. The so called techies tell me I don’t know what i’m talking about. If I can get online and bring up a home page , there is nothing wrong. Where did they get their training, at a swim meet? I am soo fed up with the run around I’m calling the BBB.
