The real question: does the new Copyright Law make the hacking of DRM protection illegal? Will purchasers of DVDs go to jail for doing The Wrong Thing to DVDs that they have purchased?
(As opposed to passing around copies of them, which is clearly illegal and already was.)

What's awesome is watching the ads at the movie theatre. Not sure if it's the CRIA or the American counter-part, but they are quite specific that downloading is stealing and illegal. Even though they know that it's not illegal today, they are still running ads in Canada stating otherwise. Who to believe? Not them.
