Firefox Picking Up Steam

Okay, IE still has more than 90% of the browser market but you have to be excited that there have been more than 25 million downloads of Firefox 1.0 in the past 100 days. I wonder how many of those downloads have happened since Bill Gates promised earlier this week that IE7 would be so much better than IE6, and include new features such as improved security. Sure, Firefox has its shortcomings but there's a new browser race going on that could make the IE-Netscape and IE-Opera battles pale in comparison.
