Skype is charging for what is *essentially* long-distance, just marketed differently.
Do a search in different languages, and you&#39;ll find dozens of little, regional VoIP companies knocking on the doors of ethnic customers. They buy a local gateway, get an equivalent gateway in the target company, then arbitrage minutes to get a better rate.
And yes, it&#39;s all about the features. Except that the entire bundle of features is already being added in. Given that the pricing for these features isn&#39;t being broken out....what features are people actually going to pay for? I can think of a couple, but they&#39;re mainly tied into business services, not for the individual.</description>
